I am Genessis Lopez, a multidisciplinary Mexican artist living in Minneapolis, MN. I focus on painting and illustrating plants and flowers, creating colorful designs that show the joy and peace I find in nature. My time in my grandmother's garden in Mexico greatly influences my art.
I also teach Digital Illustration at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Over my career, I have illustrated for organizations like Minnesota Public Radio, the Metropolitan Council, and Metro Transit. I've collaborated with the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association to engage with the local art scene.
